How ADHD Moms Can Use AI to Buy Back Time: Inside the Let AI Do It Lab™

Published: May 15, 2026

In the Let AI Do It Lab™ Kickoff Session, Katherine Lizardo, Esq. introduced a compassionate, ADHD-friendly way for moms and mompreneurs to use AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini.

Instead of chasing prompts, hacks, or the latest app, the Lab teaches AI Fluency: how to think with AI, communicate with AI, and delegate to AI so ADHD moms can reduce mental load, simplify decisions, and create more capacity for life, family, and business.

Why Let AI Do It Lab™ Exists

ADHD moms do not usually struggle because they lack information.

Many of us are already carrying too much information.

The real challenge is often the invisible work happening behind the scenes:

  • planning

  • deciding

  • organizing

  • starting

  • restarting

  • following through

  • managing family logistics

  • building a business

  • remembering the next step

  • trying to complete avoided tasks

For ADHD mompreneurs, this invisible work can become especially heavy.

We may be raising kids, managing neurodivergent family needs, building mission-driven businesses, creating content, serving clients, managing a household, and trying to remember ourselves in the middle of it all.

That is why I created Let AI Do It Lab™ for ADHD Moms.

The goal of this community is simple:

To help ADHD moms and ADHD mompreneurs buy back time by learning how to let AI support the tasks, decisions, and mental load we’ve been carrying alone.

This blog post is based on the Let AI Do It Lab™ Kickoff session, where I introduced the vision for the community, the concept of AI Fluency, and our first hands-on training called the AI Context Lab.

The Real Problem: ADHD Moms Are Carrying Too Much Invisible Work

During the Kickoff, we talked about a feeling many ADHD moms know well:

“I’m doing everything myself, and the clock keeps running out.”

That feeling is not laziness.

It is not a lack of caring.

It is often the result of executive function load.

For ADHD brains, the invisible parts of a task can feel just as heavy as the task itself. Sometimes heavier.

Before we write the email, we have to figure out what to say.

Before we create the post, we have to decide the angle.

Before we launch the offer, we have to organize the steps.

Before we clean the kitchen, we have to decide where to start.

Before we respond to the message, we have to regulate our emotions.

That is why AI has the potential to be so helpful for ADHD moms.

Not because AI replaces our humanity.

But because AI can reduce the friction around the tasks that drain our capacity.

What “Let AI Do It” Actually Means

Letting AI do it does not mean handing over your voice, values, creativity, or judgment.

It does not mean becoming robotic.

It does not mean chasing every new AI tool, prompt, hack, or feature.

Inside Let AI Do It Lab™, “Let AI Do It” means learning how to use AI to:

  • reduce mental load

  • simplify decisions

  • organize scattered ideas

  • execute avoided tasks

  • support time blindness

  • create drafts faster

  • reduce back-and-forth thinking

  • free up more space for life, family, business, and purpose

The goal is not to do more just for the sake of doing more.

The goal is to create more capacity for what matters most.

For ADHD moms, that capacity matters deeply.

When our mental load is lighter, we can show up with more patience, more presence, more creativity, and more emotional steadiness.

That is why I believe AI can help us become better moms and better human beings.

Not because AI is human.

But because AI can support the invisible work that often keeps us from fully showing up as ourselves.

Why AI Fluency Matters More Than AI Tools

One of the biggest ideas from the Kickoff was this:

We are building AI Fluency, not chasing tools.

AI tools are changing constantly.

Today, people may be talking about Claude.

Tomorrow, it may be ChatGPT.

Next week, it may be Gemini, Canva AI, Perplexity, or another tool that just launched.

If we chase every app, we stay overwhelmed.

But when we learn the skill underneath the app, we become more grounded.

That skill is AI Fluency.

What Is AI Fluency?

AI Fluency is the ability to understand how to think with AI, communicate with AI, and delegate to AI.

For ADHD moms and ADHD mompreneurs, AI Fluency includes learning how to use AI in a way that supports:

  • executive function

  • emotional regulation

  • time blindness

  • decision fatigue

  • mental load

  • family responsibilities

  • business building

  • avoided tasks

  • creative work

  • follow-through

This is what makes Let AI Do It Lab™ different from generic AI trainings.

Most AI trainings teach tools.

This community teaches AI Fluency through an ADHD-friendly lens.

Because if someone teaches AI without understanding ADHD, there is often an invisible gap.

They may teach the feature.

They may teach the prompt.

They may teach the shortcut.

But they may not understand why an ADHD mom can still freeze, avoid, overthink, spiral, or abandon the task even when the tool technically works.

That is the gap Let AI Do It Lab™ was created to fill.

The AI Fluency Ladder™

Inside the Kickoff, I introduced the AI Fluency Ladder™.

This is a simple way to understand how people grow in their ability to use AI.

Level Zero: Context Comes First

Before Level 1, there is Level Zero.

This is the level most people overlook.

Level Zero is AI Context.

Before we ask AI to help us do more, we have to teach AI to understand us better.

That is what AI Context does.

Level 1: AI Answers You

At Level 1, AI acts like a tool.

You ask a question.

AI gives an answer.

This is where many people begin. They use AI like a faster version of Google.

There is nothing wrong with this level. It is a starting point.

But if we stay here, we may only use AI for surface-level answers instead of deeper support.

Level 2: AI Works With You

At Level 2, AI becomes a thinking partner.

This is where AI helps you:

  • think through ideas

  • plan your content

  • organize a messy brain dump

  • make decisions

  • prepare for meetings

  • write emails

  • map out offers

  • simplify next steps

  • solve business and family challenges

This is where AI starts becoming especially useful for ADHD mompreneurs.

Instead of staring at a blank page, you can think out loud with AI.

Instead of holding every decision in your mind, you can use AI to help sort what matters.

Instead of getting stuck in overthinking, you can ask AI to help you see the next doable step.

Level 3: AI Works For You

At Level 3, AI begins to work more like a worker or assistant.

This is where AI can help with workflows, recurring tasks, research, sorting, summarizing, planning, and reporting.

For example, imagine waking up and AI has already helped you:

  • sort your inbox

  • identify important emails

  • summarize what matters

  • organize your calendar

  • prepare a content research report

  • review what competitors or similar creators posted

  • create a draft plan for your day

This is the level where AI can begin helping you buy back significant time.

But there is one important step before all of these levels.

And most people skip it.

What Is AI Context?

AI Context is the background information AI uses to understand who you are, what you do, what matters to you, and how to support you better.

Think of AI Context like giving AI your personal instruction manual.

Instead of opening Claude or ChatGPT and typing a random prompt, you are first telling AI:

  • who you are

  • how your ADHD brain works

  • what kind of support helps you

  • what kind of support does not help you

  • what you are building

  • what your business does

  • what your values are

  • what your goals are

  • what “done well” looks like in your life and work

Without context, AI guesses.

With context, AI can give more relevant support.

That means fewer generic answers.

Less frustrating back-and-forth.

Less wasted time.

More useful output.

Why AI Context Is Especially Helpful for ADHD Brains

ADHD brains often spend a lot of energy re-explaining, rethinking, rewriting, restarting, and trying to get the “right” result.

That can happen with AI, too.

If AI gives a generic answer, we may feel frustrated and think:

“This tool does not get me.”

But often, the issue is not the AI tool itself.

The issue is that the AI has not been given enough context.

For ADHD moms, this matters because every extra step creates friction.

And friction is one of the biggest reasons we avoid tasks.

AI Context helps reduce that friction.

When AI understands your brain, your work, your goals, your values, and your preferred support style, it can become a much more helpful thinking partner.

The Parent-Child Analogy for Training AI

One of the analogies I shared in the Kickoff was this:

Be your AI’s mom.

The “P” in GPT stands for “pre-trained.”

That means AI tools are trained before we ever use them.

But they are not automatically trained on your life.

They do not automatically know your family, your business, your values, your ADHD patterns, your voice, your goals, or your preferred way of being supported.

So we have to teach them.

Just like a child learns through guidance, repetition, correction, and context, AI works better when we guide it.

That does not mean we treat AI as human.

It means we understand that AI performs better when we train it with clear context.

For ADHD moms, this shift is powerful.

Instead of expecting AI to magically know what we mean, we can teach AI how to support us better.

Why the First Lab Is the AI Context Lab

Because AI Context is so foundational, our first hands-on training inside Let AI Do It Lab™ is called the AI Context Lab.

The AI Context Lab is designed to help ADHD moms and ADHD mompreneurs build a simple reusable AI Context file.

This file can help tools like:

  • Claude

  • ChatGPT

  • Gemini

  • and other AI platforms

understand you better and support you more effectively.

The AI Context Lab is organized into three parts.

Day 1: AI Gets Me

On Day 1, we build your personal context.

This helps AI understand who you are, how your ADHD shows up, and what kind of support helps you.

This may include things like:

  • your strengths

  • your challenges

  • your ADHD patterns

  • your preferred communication style

  • your emotional support preferences

  • what overwhelms you

  • what helps you take action

  • what kind of reminders or structure work best for you

The goal is for AI to understand you as a person before it starts helping with tasks.

Day 2: AI Gets My Work

On Day 2, we build your work context.

This helps AI understand what you do and what you are building.

For ADHD mompreneurs, this can be especially important because many of us do not have only one “thing.”

We may have:

  • a business

  • a community

  • a podcast

  • a blog

  • a book idea

  • a course

  • digital products

  • client work

  • family responsibilities

  • multiple offers

  • several creative ideas at once

AI can support us better when it understands the full ecosystem of our work.

Day 2 helps organize that ecosystem so AI can become a stronger thinking partner.

Day 3: AI Gets My Goals

On Day 3, we build your goals context.

This helps AI understand where you are going.

If AI does not know what matters to you, it will guess.

If AI does not know what “done well” looks like, it will default to generic answers.

Your goals context helps AI understand:

  • what you are working toward

  • what matters most right now

  • what kind of business you are building

  • what life season you are in

  • what matters in your family

  • what outcomes you care about

  • what tradeoffs you are willing or unwilling to make

This helps AI give support that is aligned with your real life, not some generic productivity fantasy.

Do You Have to Use Claude?

For the AI Context Lab, I recommend Claude because it is currently strong for preferences, writing style, and longer context.

However, the foundation applies across AI tools.

You can use these same AI Context principles with:

  • Claude

  • ChatGPT

  • Gemini

  • or another AI tool you prefer

The point is not the tool.

The point is learning how to give AI better context so it can support you better.

That is AI Fluency.

How to Prepare for our AI Lab

For the easiest experience, I recommend preparing your workspace before a hands-on AI training.

Helpful setup options include:

  • using a laptop or desktop

  • opening Claude or your preferred AI tool

  • keeping a Google Doc open for copy and paste

  • using split screen if you do not have dual monitors

  • joining live when possible for body doubling

  • watching the replay if live attendance does not work

But the setup does not have to be perfect.

If you only have a phone or tablet, start there.

If you have to watch the replay later, that works too.

The goal is to reduce friction, not create more pressure.

Curious is enough.

“I Don’t Have Time to Learn AI.”

One of the most common thoughts ADHD moms may have is:

“I don’t have time to learn AI.”

That makes sense.

But here is the reframe:

The reason we don’t have time is the reason AI Fluency matters.

Learning AI may take some setup in the beginning.

But AI Fluency is a compounding skill.

Once you understand how to use AI as a thinking partner and support system, you can use that skill across your business, your home, your parenting, your planning, your content, your email, your offers, and your daily decisions.

The time you invest in learning AI can help you reclaim time later.

“What If I Can’t Stay Consistent?”

Another common ADHD thought is:

“What if I start this and don’t stay consistent?”

AI Fluency does not grow through perfection.

It grows through repetition.

The more you use AI, the more familiar it becomes.

At first, it may feel awkward.

That is expected.

Like texting a new friend, the interaction may feel clunky in the beginning.

But with repetition, the conversation becomes easier.

That is how AI Fluency grows.

Not through perfection.

Through returning.
